JW's believe that the jesus second coming is actualy a period which started in 1914 when he was enthroned in heaven as king. The first thing he supposedly did as king was battle with Satan and cast him and his demons down to earth.
What makes their belief even more ridiculous is their claims that the war in heaven ended in 1918 (coinciding with the release of watchtower officials from prison.) It took jesus and his angels 4 years to cast satan and his demons out of heaven. Funny to think that Satan could resist jesus in battle for four years. Considering Jesus is supposed to have created (or at least co-created) him and all the demons in the first place.

Reasons why the Governing Body are big time conmen.
by greendawn inthe gb of the jws continue to make this grandiose claim that they were god appointed to be his sole channel through which he gives new light to the world and that they were also assigned to oversee his kingdom interests on earth.
this is of course an audacious but cheap lie that they want to use as a means to promote themselves and climb up, like babylon, on the backs of their followers.
what reasons or information can you offer that proves they are impostors against god and men?

Woodsman,
Actually the bible is full of new light. When it comes to moral principles the bible is far from consistent. You just need to look at the general difference in the teachings between old and new testaments as one example.

Guus should be made an honourary aussie, and given a lifetime supply of Vic Bitter. There should be at least one pub in every capital city named after him. But in my books, Schwarzer should be PM... And if Jehooova ever decides to resign from his position of "Supreme Being", then i nominate Mark Shwarzer to take his place :D

Yeah Australia was vicious in that game...
I think australia's next target is going to be the USA after the america coach basically labelled us as easybeats for the next world cup....
I can't believe the US is ranked 8th in the world. The FIFA ranking system is a bit of a joke.. Can't wait for the aussies to do some ass whooping on you yanks! hehehe. I just hope we're in the same group.

If you think the JW's are correct on Blood don't read
by skyman inif anyone can disprove my conclussions please send me a letter in my inbox, or if you can think of other points please drop me a line.
feel free to copy and use part or all of this letter.
i started my biblical sereach after i was asked by a brother in my book study group why we could use fraction that was taken from coagulated blood, but can not auto-transfuse {store our own blood for later use} becasue the blood coagulates and then must be poured out onto the ground.

I remember reading Deut 14:21 when i was a dub having doubts. The implication of it totally blew me away. What further impacted me was the fact that i could not find any significant comments on that scripture in any watchtower publications. It was totally sidestepped!
That's why i believe watchtower leaders and governing body members do realise that their blood doctrine was and still is on shaky ground.
They are personally responsible for the lives that have perished as a result of their doctrine regarding the use of blood. Their failure to acknowledge this error reveals the true nature of these heart-hearted men.

List What You Consider "Wrong" In The Organization
by minimus insome witnesses might not really believe that they don't have "the truth".
sure, they know about some of the past errors but they bury it because they feel everyone is imperfect and can make mistakes....but are these just simple "mistakes" or is the watchtower organization simply wrong?
what things can you think of that show that the watchtower has a "pattern" of never getting it right---even to this day??
-

There are sooo many things wrong in the organisation...
The big ones for me (apart from the obvious "blood", false propheciy issues) is the fact that people in the org tend to live lives that are half lived. I've seen so many witnesses just cruising through their lives, without dreams, or ambitions, or passion. When they encounter issues, rather than take a proactive course of action, alot of them just resign themselves to the situation and say "The new system is just around the corner, my problem will be fixed then."
The other thing that i think is seriously wrong with the organisation is their perception of the world. The see it as a bad and evil place. In face it's their "Us vs Them" mentality which provides the platform for the Watchtower to indoctrinate their minds with alot of the nonsense that JW's believe. People in the org really need to wake up and see that the people around in the community are not such bad and wicked people. The world is not such a nasty place after all. I believe this perception of theirs stems from a lack of real genuine love. "Love... believes all things, Hopes all things." Witnesses are too quick to write people off.
